I saw split boards in catalogs back in the day, but it always seemed a bit gimmicky. You know, ride Alta in stealth mode. But now it looks like they’re ready for primetime. Coveting…hard.
It looks like they make DIY kits that allow you to saw your old board in half. Tempting.
Update: Not all snowboarding innovations are as cool. For instance, this. (I’ve had this nightmare once, kind of like an inverted falling dream followed by a genuine falling dream.)
